Detective Eddie Boone is on a stake out of a nortorious drug dealer. But things so go badly wrong during an ambush and Eddie is injected with a new drug called Ozone, which eventually turns its victims into zombies.
His partner and friend Mike Weitz is kidnapped by a group of Ozone addicted zombies, Eddie desperate to save his partner from the marauding zombies, Eddie searches the streets, but as he kills any zombie that gets in his way, the effects of the Ozone drug in his blood starts taking effect moving Eddie one step closer to becoming a zombie himself.
